About Laurea
Laurea is an italian restaurant in Princeton, New Jersey. It is listed at 102 Carnegie Center Dr, Princeton, NJ 08540, which places it among the local businesses of Princeton that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
Italian restaurants, sub shops, calzone counters and Italian delis sit next to the pizzerias on this site because most of them bake pizza too, often from the same dough. Full-service Italian restaurants take reservations for dinner, add a tip line for table service (15-20% is customary) and usually run a cheaper lunch menu on weekdays. Sub and sandwich shops are counter-order and quick, with sizes by the inch or in half and whole lengths. Calzones and strombolis are priced like a medium pizza and are large enough to share. Italian delis and bakeries sell by weight and by the piece, and many close mid-afternoon.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 6:30β10 am. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Laurea at (609) 734-4226; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is laureaprinceton.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.
Its Google rating is 4.1 out of 5 from 174 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Princeton is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Princeton peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Quiet restaurant inside the Carnagie Hyatt. Italian cuisine. Most pasta made on premises. Good cocktails. Limited selection on draft beer but supplemented with bottle and beer selection. seems to have a good wine selection as well. Food was well preparef and tasty traditional italian fare. Prices for food and drinks was reasonable. Good and friendly service. No surcharge on use of cc. I will be back.

We were a table of four for dinner on a Saturday night. As the other reviewers note, itβs a relaxing, quiet atmosphere with very friendly service. It was not crowded, and you easily could carry on a conversation. Fine drinks, good food, butβ¦ we waited a long time until the drinks arrived, and it was a very, very long time between courses. The entrΓ©es did not arrive until almost 2 hours after we were seated. Our low service rating is attributed to the kitchen, and not to the server.

Visited for an office trip and had dinner here one evening. I ordered a salmon dish and a non-alcoholic drink; both were good. The office covered the dinner cost. The atmosphere and service were pleasant.

Have been here for both breakfast and dinner. The dinner is surprisingly pretty good, especially given that the restaurant is situated within a hotel. Creative takes on classic Italian dishes, all prepared fresh. Service is super friendly and thereβs a roomy, relaxing ambiance.

Deeply disappointed in the Ribeye Pasta although they said itβs their recommend. Even not for a signature dish, it was a total miss. Wish Iβd just gone with a hamburger; itβs hard to mess that up, but this pasta was a lost cause. The breakfast was good.
